TRX PRO4 Suspension Trainer
The TRX PRO4 is the commercial-grade version of the suspension trainer TRX built its name on: two adjustable straps with handles and foot cradles that turn your bodyweight into resistance for rows, presses, squats, planks, and hundreds of variations. It shines in versatility per cubic inch - nothing else this portable trains your whole body this completely, and adjusting difficulty is as simple as changing your foot position. The honest knock is the learning curve: progressions are not obvious, sloppy form is easy, and TRX pushes app subscriptions on top of the hardware. The door anchor also limits certain moves versus a ceiling mount. Buy it if you will actually learn the system; skip it if you need a machine to tell you what to do.
Why we rate it
- Trains the entire body with one lightweight, travel-friendly piece of gear
- Difficulty scales instantly by adjusting body angle, from beginner to brutal
- PRO4 build quality (rubber grips, adjustable foot cradles, locking loop) holds up to heavy use
Keep in mind
- Real learning curve - exercise selection and progressions take study
